Wave Weave was born from a profoundpersonal awakening by our founder, Amelia Reed.Formerly an urban landscape designer, Amelia's life wasdominated by relentless deadlines, glowing screens, andthe ceaseless hum of city life. After experiencingburnout, she sought refuge along the rugged coastlineof Big Sur, California. There, amidst the rhythmic danceof the ocean's waves, she discovered a newfound senseof peace.
Inspired by this moment, and grounded in Wallace J.Nichols' science of the "Blue Mind," she recognized thetransformative power water has on our mentalwell-being: proximity to water activates a meditativestate,reduces stress, and fosters inner calm.
